Sprawl

Enter the dystopian world of SPRAWL, a hardcore retro first-person shooter that’s certain to test your reflexes as you battle through onslaughts of enemies in an atmospheric cyberpunk megapolis. The best-in-class “boomer shooter” is available on PlayStation 5 and it’s never been more fun to bullet-time head-shot corporate mercenaries while you sprint and wall-jump through grungy 90s anime-inspired cities. “I can’t stop playing this Titanfall-F.E.A.R.-Killzone-Doom-Like,” raves Kotaku, adding that Sprawl is a “violently delightful time, and one of [our] favorite games so far this year.” Neither can we, guys. And we invite all PS5 owners to get in on the action. Become Seven, a disgraced special ops super soldier commanded by a mysterious voice, as she struggles to escape the walled city, overthrow the Junta, and discover the secrets of the Spire. Sprawl delivers relentless FPS action combined with acrobatic parkour so juicy and addictive that it would make Mirror’s Edge blush, and it does it all to the tune of an incredible dynamic electronic-industrial soundtrack that changes based on how you play. “Fluid movement, excellent level design, gratifying combat and a bombastic soundtrack make SPRAWL a fantastic and challenging shooter,” gushes Finger Guns. All of this. What’s more, Sprawl runs at a blazing-fast, never-hiccups framerate with controls tailor-made for PlayStation 5, features hours of frenzied precision gameplay, an intriguing storyline, slow-mo cinematic kills, a variety of nostalgic weapons, and yes, a freakin’ high-flying shotgun-jump. Because everybody needs a shotgun-jump that propels them a dozen feet into the air and over fences where they can continue mowing down enemies. This is what next-gen has been missing and you’re very welcome.
