Set in modern-day Japan, where Kyoto has become the capital, the story unfolds as boys and girls awaken as "eligibles" and travel to the other world of Xanadu. Explore Xanadu in 2D action gameplay that makes full use of varied melee and shooting attacks along with elemental-based gimmicks. Experience pulse-pounding battles in 3D action, featuring mechanics such as Soul Accel, which dramatically enhances the player’s abilities, and Issen, a one-hit kill counter triggered from a perfectly timed guard. The game adopts a unique battle system built around these two distinct action styles.
